Children's volunteering - as a means of effective socialization of preschool children in public organizations

Kindergarten project. Volunteering

Project “Little Volunteers”
TYPE OF PROJECT: educational, educational, developmental. According to the profile of knowledge: interdisciplinary project. By the nature of coordination: with open coordination. By level of contacts: at the preschool educational institution level. PROJECT DURATION: long-term. September 2022 – June 2022. PROJECT PARTICIPANTS: children, preschool teachers, parents. RELEVANCE OF THE PROJECT: Relevance. Working with young children, we are annually faced with the problem of their adaptation to the conditions of kindergarten. The child’s adaptation to new social conditions is very painful. After all, a child’s admission to a preschool educational institution is accompanied by a change in his environment, daily routine, nutritional pattern, and system of behavioral reactions (dynamic stereotype) of the child, which leads to the need to adapt to new living conditions and establish social connections. When a child comes to kindergarten for the first time, a serious restructuring of all his relationships with people occurs. The preschool institution is the first to open the world of social and public life to the child. It is known that changing social relationships presents significant difficulties for a child. Anxiety and emotional tension are associated with the absence of people close to the child, with changes in the environment and usual conditions. Many children become restless, whiny, and withdrawn. This sudden change in living conditions can be accompanied by difficult experiences, a decrease in play and speech activity, and seriously affects the child’s health. During this period, the child experiences a deterioration in appetite, up to a complete refusal to eat, sleep and urination disturbances, sudden mood swings, frequent breakdowns and whims. The baby often gets sick, which is primarily due to the child’s reluctance to go to kindergarten. Such children feel insecure in a group and practically do not play with anyone. Accepting new children into the group is associated with some difficulties for teachers. This is due to the fact that several newcomers are immediately brought into the group, constantly in need of attention and affection. This does not allow the teacher to provide the necessary contact with children and find the right approach to them. Every year we asked ourselves how to facilitate the adaptation of young children, what to use to organize successful adaptation. Watching the kids on walks together with older preschoolers, we noticed that the kids look at the older children with interest, and sometimes on their own initiative they approach them, begin to communicate, and the older children do not push the kids away, they show elements of care and attention. To organize the successful adaptation of children, we decided to use the technology of volunteering for older preschoolers, based on the fact that young children do not perceive older children as “alien adults” or as a “threat to themselves.” Having teamed up with teachers of senior preschool children, we decided to develop and implement the “It’s Fun to Play Together” project. THE NOVELTY OF THE EXPERIENCE lies in the fact that the creation of a volunteer movement is expected in a kindergarten with the aim of organizing the successful adaptation of young children. PROJECT IDEA: The creation of a volunteer movement for children will lead to a more active formation of socially significant personal qualities in preschoolers, such as mercy, responsibility, independence, initiative, and the ability to cooperate in a team. HYPOTHESIS: Involving older preschoolers in organizing the lives of young children in kindergarten will significantly facilitate the process of their adaptation to the conditions of the kindergarten and will contribute to the formation of cultural, hygienic and social-communicative skills. THEORETICAL BASIS OF THE PROBLEM In Russia, volunteering in the modern sense began to take shape only in the late 80s and early 90s. XX century. Today it is reflected in the following documents: the Constitution of the Russian Federation (1993), the Civil Code of the Russian Federation (1995), the Law of the Russian Federation “On Charitable Activities and Charitable Organizations” (1995), the Law of the Russian Federation “On Public Associations” (1995). ), the draft Federal Law “On Philanthropy, Patronage and Volunteering”, the Concept of “promoting the development of charitable activities and volunteerism”, which were developed by the Union of Charitable Organizations of Russia. Volunteer (French volontaire - volunteer) is any individual, including foreign citizens and stateless persons, who contributes to the development of volunteerism by carrying out volunteer activities. Volunteering is a wide range of activities, including traditional forms of mutual aid and self-help, formal service provision and other forms of civic participation, that are carried out voluntarily for the benefit of the general public without expectation of monetary reward. It is noted that the issues of educating the social activity of the individual have always been the focus of attention of domestic pedagogy. Ideas about nurturing the social activity of the younger generation are reflected in the works of A.S. Makarenko, N.K. Krupskaya, V.A. Sukhomlinsky, A.S. Makarenko. Modern theoretical and methodological approaches to the development of social activity of young people are reflected in the works of M.I. Rozhkov; more and more studies are appearing in domestic science in which the phenomenon of social personality is considered in the context of socialization (M.V. Poddubnaya, M.V. Demidenko, etc. .) Leading modern psychologists, teachers, sociologists and philosophers believe that youth voluntary social activities today will not only help solve many social problems of society, but also contribute to the development of socially significant qualities of young people, the formation of their active life position. Based on the analysis, we can conclude that the literature pays sufficient attention to the issues of volunteering and social activity of school-age children and teenagers. There is no educational and methodological literature aimed at developing the volunteer movement in preschool age. PROJECT OBJECTIVE: To develop and implement a set of pedagogical activities that ensure the participation of older preschoolers in the process of adaptation of children to the conditions of a preschool institution, in the process of developing cultural, hygienic and socio-communicative skills of young children. TASKS: 1. Analyze the psychological, pedagogical and methodological literature on the issue of organizing the volunteer movement in preschool educational institutions. 2. Technology “Children are volunteers” as a means of effective socialization of preschool children

 The article discusses the “Children Volunteers” technology, which makes it possible to put into practice the principles of the Federal State Educational Standard for Educational Education, provides for the development of the spiritual and moral qualities of the personality of preschoolers, and creates conditions for different-age, interpersonal and cognitive-business communication between children and adults.

Key words: volunteer movement in preschool educational institutions.

From the first days of life, a child is a social being, since his needs cannot be satisfied without the help and participation of another person. Modern children live and develop in completely different sociocultural conditions. Excessive employment of parents, generation gap, lack of “yard” socialization, isolation of the child in the family and other trends negatively affect the socialization of our children. Effective socialization is one of the main conditions for a child’s life in society in general and the child’s personal readiness for school in particular. One of the main tasks of preschool education is the creation of a favorable socio-cultural development environment in preschool educational institutions.

However, with the introduction of the Federal State Educational Standard for Education (clause 2.6.) “the establishment of independence, purposefulness and self-regulation of one’s own actions” is one of the tasks of the social and communicative development of a child, it was necessary to reconsider the approach to organizing the conditions for the development of a child - a preschooler. The team of MDOU d/s No. 98 “Ivushka” began to look for new modern forms of organizing work with children, innovative pedagogical technologies that optimally correspond to the set goal of personal development.

Many questions arose:

– How to educate spiritual and moral qualities in a preschooler?

– How to teach children to navigate society, live among people and, if possible, help them?

–What can we, teachers, do in a kindergarten?

One of these forms in MDOU d/s No. 98 was the implementation of the “Children – Volunteers” technology. The volunteer movement has already shown its viability and effectiveness as an active form of communication, in which the child becomes proactive and independent in choosing ways to express his interests. And the volunteer movement is based on the following principles: “if you want to feel like a human being, help someone else,” “you yourself wanted to, and you yourself chose what to do.” This is how the pedagogical idea came to organize a volunteer movement in a preschool educational institution.

Volunteering (from the Latin Voluntarius - voluntarily) is a wide range of activities, including traditional forms of mutual aid and self-help, formal provision of services and other forms of civic participation, which is carried out voluntarily for the benefit of the general public without expectation of monetary reward.

Volunteers, from the point of view of the law of the Russian Federation, are individuals who carry out charitable activities in the form of gratuitous work or provision of services (volunteer activities). Volunteer work unites people in a single desire - the desire to do good.

In our kindergarten, we began to use the concept of “volunteering” a year ago, but the tradition of helping others has existed for many years. A creative group of teachers from MDOU kindergarten No. 98 “Ivushka” developed and presented at the pedagogical council the project “Good Deeds for Preschool Children.”

The goal of the project: to introduce volunteer practice into the activities of the kindergarten, aimed at developing the spiritual and moral personality of preschoolers, to form a high patriotic consciousness among students.

Stages of the project:

1. Preparatory. Social and psychological training of volunteers.

2. Organizational. Formation of the volunteer movement.

3. Practical. A journey into the world of good deeds and deeds. Development of the volunteer movement, holding promotions and events.

The creation of a volunteer team in our institution began with the call: “I want to help!”, symbolizing the essence of the volunteer movement. The volunteer detachment “Good Deeds for Preschool Children” included pupils of three preparatory groups of MDOU kindergarten No. 98, in which volunteers were trained in certain knowledge and communication skills.

Together with the children, we developed volunteer rules.

1. Find someone who needs your support and help him.

2. Finish what you started.

3. If you are a volunteer, do not be indifferent to the problems of others.

4. If you can do it yourself, teach someone else.

5. Respect the opinions of others.

6. Be persistent in achieving your goals.

At the first stage of work on the project, teachers and parents of students form ideas about the role and place of volunteering in modern society, and children are given a definition of the concept of “volunteer.” Here the development of communication skills, self-confidence, and the development of attributes of the volunteer movement take place.

The second stage was the creation of volunteers for the “Good Deeds of Preschool Children” school among pupils of three preparatory groups. The guys accepted the volunteer movement with great interest. A group of 10-12 people immediately stood out, who showed more desire than others.

At the third stage, volunteers from the “Good Deeds for Preschool Children” school traveled into the world of good deeds and deeds under the slogan “Do good deeds!” The children felt like they were the oldest among other children in kindergarten. Communication between children of different ages created a feeling of “adulthood” among school volunteers; a desire and desire arose to solve new, more complex problems of cognition, communication, and activity. The children realized their responsibility, received inner satisfaction from their work, and their self-esteem and self-confidence increased. Through their example and concrete help, volunteers taught the kids self-care skills. “We’ll teach you what we can do ourselves,” - this is what the children of the volunteer group “Good Deeds for Preschool Children” said when they made homemade toys, gifts for Mother’s Day, and New Year’s toys for the Christmas tree with special pleasure for the younger children. The children acted as heroes at children's parties and gave them little books. The children had a great desire to help, care and make nice gifts for young children. And they did it well. Volunteers found a place to use their abilities during the theater week “Visiting a Fairy Tale.” The heroes of the fairy tale “Teremok” were greeted with interest by the youngest spectators, because a fairy tale about friendship is always relevant and finds a response in the heart of the viewer. The fairy tale teaches friendliness and tolerance towards other people.

At the third stage, the preparation and implementation of educational and preventive activities takes place, the involvement of the public of parents and teachers in supporting the development of the volunteer movement in MDOU d/s No. 98 “Ivushka”. What can a kindergarten volunteer team do? Probably the most important thing in this educational process is the inspiration and example of the teachers and parents of our kindergarten.

Events held within the framework of the project “Good Deeds for Preschool Children.”

1. “The world is one for all.”

As part of the project, the “One World for All” campaign was held for children with disabilities. Every person has at least a drop of sympathy for these children. So why not help them by giving at least a small part of your soul for them. Pupils of Children's Preschool Educational Institution No. 98 and volunteers of the Good Deeds of Preschool Children school prepared a concert “Kindness will save the world” for the children from the Nadezhda rehabilitation center for children and adolescents with disabilities. The children happily took part in fun games, sang songs and danced. Our students gave the children a piece of warmth, kindness and love. In November 2022, on the basis of Municipal Educational Institution Secondary School No. 17, the 1st regional festival of children's ideas was held, where our children had the opportunity to express themselves in the category: “Boomerang of Good.” The project “One World for All” was presented, which left no one indifferent. This project was presented at the competition by Ivan Smirnov (pupil of preparatory group No. 4), a volunteer at the “Good Deeds for Preschool Children” school, where he became the winner of the competition and decided to continue the work, since there is no point in stopping there.

2. “The house where I live.”

Our kindergarten took part in the city campaign “The House Where I Live”. The children, together with teachers and parents, prepared posters, drawings, and collages calling on residents of our 21 microdistricts to make their homes and courtyards clean and cozy, and to keep their hallways clean and tidy. During the excursion around the neighborhood, the children already looked at their yards and houses with different eyes: how nice it is when the entrance is clean, and next to the house caring neighbors take care of the flower beds and make people happy. We also paid attention to the garbage and painted dirty walls: all this made the children think about who determines the order in the house, yard, and city. “A clean yard means a clean city!”, “The cleanliness of the city is in our hands”, “A clean yard means a good mood”, “Take care of the house you live in!” Residents of houses visited by children and volunteers from the “Good Deeds for Preschool Children” school saw such inscriptions on posters. The children met the janitor and talked about his hard work. We hope this action will awaken good feelings in the residents of our neighborhood.

3. “Give a smile to a friend.”

By transferring our warmth to others, we make people kinder. This attitude helped us implement the campaign: “Give a friend a smile.” This act of kindness amused and delighted both children and adults. During the walk, volunteers from the Good Deeds for Preschool Children school walked around the kindergarten and put everyone in a good mood. The children read poems, sang songs, gave gifts, and said kind words. All the guys received a great charge of positive emotions. Parents and employees of MDOU d/s No. 98 were given emoticons with a smile, accompanied by friendly wishes and jokes. Later, some of the guys admitted that this day was the best day of their lives.

4. “Feed the birds in winter.”

In December 2022, MDOU d/s No. 98 held the “Feed the birds in winter!” campaign. Volunteers of the “Good Deeds for Preschool Children” school and pupils of MDOU kindergarten No. 98 took an active part in the action. The children learned a lot about the life of birds in winter and what they eat. Together with their parents, the children made feeders and brought food for the birds. There were so many feeders that at first an exhibition was organized in which the children themselves presented their feeders. The exhibition amazed me with its diversity. A “bird canteen” was opened at the group’s site. Now children have a wonderful opportunity to help wintering birds survive the cold, as well as watch them. The collection of good deeds is replenished! Bird feeders were hung throughout the kindergarten areas. School volunteers encourage all children and parents to take part in feeding wintering birds!

5. “Being healthy is fashionable.”

In July 2022 In MDOU d/s No. 98, the event “Being Healthy is Fashionable” was held, where the parents of the pupils took an active part. The main goal of this event is to form public opinion about the need to develop a healthy lifestyle. The children, together with their parents, created their own daily routine and came up with rules for healthy eating and hygiene. Volunteers told the children what they need to do in order to grow healthy, strong and strong. The preschoolers received a lot of interesting and useful information and had a useful time.

6. “Labor landing”.

The “Labor Landing” volunteer detachment worked all summer, who showed initiative and help in restoring order in MDOU d/s No. 98. At the same time, the main goal of the detachment is to educate preschoolers with a positive attitude towards work, develop the desire to learn, become independent, skillful, capable cope with emerging difficulties and provide help and support to others if necessary. A group of volunteers from the “Good Deeds of Preschool Children” school consisting of 7 people stood out. The children kept order in the kindergarten area, looked after the flower beds, and together with the younger preschoolers made decorations for the area. The volunteer team, together with younger preschoolers, conducted basic experiments at the Little Meteorologists meteorological site, explored the properties of objects and phenomena, and developed cognitive activity, logical thinking and imagination in children. Each participant wanted to contribute what they could to the common cause and be useful. And we succeeded!

7. "Immortal Regiment".

On the eve of Victory Day, on May 8, 2022, a parade of students of the “Immortal Regiment” was held at MDOU d/s No. 98, dedicated to the celebration of Victory Day in the Great Patriotic War. Preschoolers of all groups, starting with the smallest ones, marched in a column in military costumes with banners and photographic portraits of their relatives, balloons, and flowers around the territory of the kindergarten. Children, parents and kindergarten staff honored the memory of the heroism and feat of their great-grandfathers and close relatives with a minute of silence and the launch of multi-colored balloons into the sky. In the hall there was a wall of memory “The Unmistakable Regiment”. Volunteers from the Good Deeds of Preschoolers school presented presentations and stories about their great-grandfathers, veterans, where they talked about heroic deeds. As part of the action, senior preschoolers designed “front” letters and triangle envelopes in memory of the terrible days of the war. At the end of the event, the older preschoolers had a musical and literary evening “We Carefully Preserve the Memory,” where the children sang and listened to war songs, danced, and read poetry. The sincerity and insight of the lines made the heart skip a beat, and tears fell from the pain of loss. It was an amazing holiday! Unusual emotions of children and parents.

8. "Presidential Company".

On the eve of the 2022 presidential elections in the Russian Federation, a business game “Election of the Group President” was held at the Children's Preschool No. 98 on the initiative of children. A serious “political struggle” unfolded: the guys had to complete a difficult task - they had to choose the president of the group. Two candidates from the “Good Deeds of Preschool Children” volunteer school, Yaroslav Salomatin and Kirill Pavlov, students of preparatory group No. 4, applied for this post, who presented their election programs to the young residents of the “Ivushka” kindergarten. According to the results of the elections, Kirill Pavlov won, which is not surprising, because he promised to change life in the garden for the better, to build a football field for boys, and a beauty salon for girls. The future president received a presidential certificate and a gift. The business game “Elections” aroused great interest not only among children and teachers, but also among their parents, who came after work to vote for their candidate. The mayor of the city of Volzhsky, Igor Voronin, personally congratulated Kirill Pavlov on his victory.

9. Family festival “Wonderful Moment”.

On the eve of the old New Year, the family festival “Wonderful Moment” was held in the chamber hall of the October Culture and Art Center. Volunteers came to sing Christmas songs, as well as pupils from Children's Preschool Educational Institution No. 98 with their parents and teachers. A collection of Christmas songs was published, which the kids learned in advance. At the end of the event, the dean of the Volga district, Archpriest Alexander Kopeikin, addressed the audience. He presented the music directors with diplomas of participants, and the children with sweet gifts.

10. Festive carnival “Bright People”.

A festive carnival dedicated to the city’s birthday took place in Volzhsky on July 16, 2022! The variety of colors of masks, the atmosphere of fun, humor and good mood - the most unusual creative project in the open air! A column of bright Volga residents accompanied by cheerful songs proceeded from the Palace of Children and Youth Creativity to Sq. Lenin, where carnival participants presented colorful flash mobs. Volzhians enthusiastically greeted the carnival participants on the main square of the city in Volzhsky Park. The city’s teachers reminded the guests of the holiday with a bright show “Mary Poppins” that we all come from childhood! And our “Hipsters”, pupils of MDOU kindergarten No. 98 and volunteers of the “Good Deeds of Preschool Children” school were the brightest participants of the holiday, who charged the audience with drive and fiery dances.

Children really enjoy acting as helpers. Moreover, this title must be earned by your behavior and positive attitude towards this work. Children should receive inner satisfaction, feel proud of the work done, and not expect material rewards. This is the main essence of the volunteer movement in MDOU d/s No. 98 “Ivushka”.

Analyzing the experience of the “volunteer” movement in MDOU d/s No. 98, we came to the conclusion that every year new children from preschoolers who join the volunteer team become more sociable, easily make contact, learn to listen, understand and accept the point of view of their interlocutor , lead a discussion. We believe that the main resource of the “volunteering” technology is the creation of an optimal social situation for the development of a preschooler, in which experience (play, social and cognitive) is transferred from older to younger preschoolers and the development of initiative and independence in the natural environment. Experience in this area shows that our children will grow up to be open, honest, and ready at any moment to selflessly help their neighbors.

We do not stop there; in the future, the development of the volunteer movement at MDOU d/s No. 98 “Ivushka” is the inclusion of younger schoolchildren in technology for the purpose of continuity at various levels of education.

Project “Little volunteers or good deeds for preschool children”

Children's volunteering - as a means of effective socialization of preschool children in public organizations

The Federal State Educational Standard for Preschool Education defines targets at the stage of completion of preschool education :

- The child masters basic cultural means , methods of activity, shows initiative and independence in various types of activities: - play, communication, cognitive - research activities, design, etc.; able to choose his own occupation and participants in joint activities.

- The child has a positive attitude towards the world, towards different types of work, other people and himself, has a sense of self-esteem; actively interacts with peers and adults, participates in joint games.

— Able to negotiate, take into account the interests and feelings of others, empathize with failures and rejoice in the successes of others, adequately express one’s feelings, including a sense of self-confidence, tries to resolve conflicts. Able to express and defend his position on various issues.

- Able to collaborate and perform both leadership and executive functions in collaborative activities.

Modernization of education requires working not only in the functioning mode, but also in the development mode. Developing means using innovative technologies. The novelty is that the volunteer movement is organized in a kindergarten .

Preschool age is traditionally considered a period of intense socialization . Modern children live and develop in completely new sociocultural conditions . Extremely busy parents, a generation gap, isolation of the child in the family and other trends negatively affect the socialization of modern children . Effective socialization is one of the main conditions for a child’s life in society in general and the child’s personal readiness for school in particular.

preschool children is increasingly being addressed . The achievement of these goals is facilitated by various types of activities used in pedagogy, one of them is volunteering .

Volunteering is a synonym for the word “volunteer”. Therefore, volunteering is first and foremost an initiative. Children begin to develop an active life position, the ability to navigate in society , live among people and, if possible, help them.

Volunteering is free help; as a result of his work, the child receives not material payment, but “payment” as internal satisfaction

Children's preschool educational institutions are a social institution in which people of a certain social type work, who know how to build a rating of spiritual values, for whom the concepts of “help” and “being needed” are not empty words. kindergarten specialists are set in favor of moral ideals.

In my opinion, modern society no longer requires an educator-performer, but an educator-researcher, proactive, widely educated, so I always want to present the material creatively, creatively, in a new way, organize pedagogical work in an interesting way, and provide students with the opportunity to express themselves as creative individuals .

In our work with the children and parents of the group for several months, we did good deeds, helping the children of the younger group (taught them how to dress, play together, did daily morning exercises, made them gifts for various holidays, showed them theatrical performances), took part in food for shelter animals, collected waste paper in the “save wood, donate waste paper” campaign, together with children from other groups held the “Feed the birds in winter” campaign, made feeders for birds that fly to the territory of the kindergarten, fed birds during the winter, held a cleanup day in the spring , helping the children of junior groups clean up the areas, calling it the “Good Deeds” campaign.

a volunteer in our group called “We are volunteers .”

Relevance: The rapid political, socio -economic changes taking place in society today have created conditions for the partial replacement of spiritual and moral values with material well-being. Based on this, the issue of creating a volunteer movement in kindergarten as a social institution that should prepare for life is relevant. By uniting parents, teachers and children, an activity that is dictated by good will is that it will lead to:

- to more , responsibility, independence and initiative in preschoolers

- to optimize child -parent relationships and the ability to work in a team.

A volunteer values such qualities as hard work, kindness towards people around him, care and respect for nature, responsiveness and mercy. The main motive that encourages children to develop such qualities is their desire to help, to show good nature, to take pity on the weak, small, lonely, and sick. Spiritual and moral education and volunteering teach you to help those in need, without reminders or prompts, sometimes even giving up something meaningful and interesting for yourself.

The leading pedagogical idea in organizing the volunteer movement in preschool educational institutions promotes the positive socialization of preschoolers through active work, where they act as initiators and organizers of positive changes in their preschool institution and immediate social environment and identify results on the basis of which children’s self-esteem will grow.

of a kindergarten , its interaction with the family and other social institutions are coming to the fore . Emphasis is placed on the effectiveness of the processes of socialization and individualization of the development of the personality of a preschooler . In this regard, the need for a professional teacher capable of cooperation is becoming increasingly urgent.

One of the effective forms of such cooperation, in my opinion, is the organization of a volunteer movement in a group with the involvement of parents.

When interacting with parents (legal representatives), I use various forms of work, such as: hobby classes; assistance in organizing personal and group exhibitions; organizing theatrical performances and holidays for their children and children of younger groups; mutual assistance between parents and children with parents of other groups. And much more, based on the initiatives of parents (legal representatives).

In our group, interaction with families has long been a traditional focus. Parents and their children participate in competitions, promotions, organize a variety of children’s activities, excursions and much more. This is true, but the volunteer movement is something special.

Parent volunteers are not only voluntary helpers, but also organizers, initiators, participants, and sometimes inspirers of many events. Organizing a volunteer movement in our group, with the active participation of teachers and parents, is a unique opportunity to influence the formation and development of a child’s personality and moral qualities. And in this direction I was faced with the task of selecting and developing methodological recommendations (booklets) on the readiness of parents themselves to change: “Rules of communication with children”, “Secrets of love and interaction” (the secret dreams of every child, “4 rules for parents who help children achieve success”, “Four main causes of serious behavioral disorders in children”, etc., and gain experience working with parents who care about the future of their children, who can accompany the child so that he feels comfort and support.

We are faced with a problem: the lack of experience among children of senior preschool age in demonstrating a social and moral position associated with various aspects of human social life in all their integrity and diversity.

To solve this problem, we developed a project with a goal: to create a volunteer movement “We are Volunteers” in the group, bringing together active, creative teachers, interested parents and children of senior preschool age and their participation in voluntary, socially important actions and events.

To achieve this goal we have set certain tasks:

1. Form positive attitudes towards volunteering in children;

2. Expand the understanding of the volunteer movement among children 6-7 years old, teachers, parents of pupils of the group “Bells”

3. Provide practical skills for participating in the volunteer movement to all participants in the educational process;

4. Form an initiative group of parents participating in this movement;

5. Foster a tolerant attitude towards other people, regardless of cultural environment and ethnicity;

6. Create methodological recommendations for organizing volunteering in a group and disseminate work experience in preschool educational institutions of the city.

The participants in our project were children, teachers, and parents of students.

volunteer practice in our group was carried out in stages. The first stage can be conditionally designated as preparatory. The task of this stage is to study the theoretical aspects of children's volunteering and design the organization of cultural practice in preschool educational institutions. Goals and objectives were set and preliminary work with parents began. There have also been some changes in the development environment of our group . Together we came up with the motto of our movement:

«We bring good to people

Light of smiles and warmth.

We help from the heart:

We're not kids anymore!

After consulting with the parents of the students about the implementation of the volunteer movement in our group, a long-term work plan was drawn up. Having decided to use such technology, the parents suggested preparing symbolic insignia, and so our movement began to have hand-made hats with symbols of volunteering. We studied a lot of different literature and discussed topics at a round table.

The children of our group became acquainted with the “Rules of Conduct in Kindergarten kindergarten in general .

The introduction of children's volunteering occurred at the organizational stage, the tasks of which were to motivate children to volunteer and organize a team. I conducted conversations “Who are volunteers ?”, “About the opportunity to become volunteers for kids .” Find out what children like to do. What can we teach kids? from children who expressed a desire to participate in volunteer activities . of volunteers an important point in organizing the volunteer movement , because a child cannot immediately go and teach others without knowledge and communication skills. A plan was developed with children volunteers to provide volunteer activities . Together with the students we developed the following rules:

-When you come to the group, say hello to adults and children.

- Finish what you started.

-Treat children calmly and politely.

-If you don’t want to participate in volunteer activities , you can stay in the group.

the volunteer movement with great interest. A group of 9-10 people immediately stood out who, more than others, showed a desire to work with the kids. Others took a closer look. But after the volunteers , very happy and proud, came to the group and told us where they had been and what they were doing, the others gradually began to show interest and a desire to try first, and then they also actively got involved in the work. Thus began our main practical stage of the movement.

A work plan was drawn up for the month. Sometimes, within a month, it was adjusted. But this did not affect the final result. Whenever possible, we tried to engage with the kids at all scheduled times, throughout the day. Morning performance and learning of finger games and poems. During the day - providing assistance in dressing children for a walk. Playing games together while walking, providing assistance in the area. After the walk, carefully fold your clothes into the cubicles. In the afternoon - making beds, joint productive activities, role-playing games, assisting with cleaning and washing toys.

We used in our work an effective and efficient form of working with pupils “Children for Children”. She instills in them the confidence that if older children can do it, then I can do just as well, and maybe even better. Children volunteers not only gave new knowledge to the kids. But they also developed their skills.

We organized theatrical performances for children, based on the fairy tales “Turnip”, “Kolobok”, “Teremok”, “geese-swans”, shadow theater “under the mushroom”. Children shared their talents, delighting their peers with the fabulous performance “A Christmas Tale.” And at the same time, they developed their skills and acquired new ones. The guys became more confident.

Participation in the “Let's be Friends” campaign to help a shelter for dogs and cats. The children, together with the teacher, developed and made a layout of leaflets, which they and their parents distributed to friends and family members, in order to connect adults to the problem of animal shelters. Together with the parents, they collected food and various care items for the animals, which were then donated to the shelter together with the children.

This helped me understand the problem of shelters, empathize and care for animals. The children sincerely wanted to help all the cats and dogs.

A prerequisite for this stage is a discussion of volunteer activities by organizing a “Reflective Circle” in the group after visiting the kids. Children reasoned about their successes and failures, thus developing the ability to evaluate their actions, thereby increasing their self-esteem.

Of all the children in our group, in which a team of volunteers , 70% of the children tried their hand at children's volunteer activities .

The final stage is the analysis of the results of organized activities.

Analysis

The pedagogical technology “Children Volunteers ” helped us solve the following problems:

• development of communication skills in a team of different ages;

• development of independence and responsibility, especially in younger children;

• creation of a development situation in which the formation of gaming activities and the transfer of gaming experience occurs in the natural environment , and not according to the order and story of the teacher. The children quickly adapted to the created conditions.

effects have been obtained from interaction with younger children :

volunteering helped children master the basic competence without which a person cannot live - communication.

• child volunteers showed initiative in caring for the kids, and the kids were grateful for help and attention;

• younger children began to talk more, became more willing to make contact with older children, and listened with pleasure to fairy tales, nursery rhymes, and songs. They began to use more complex sentences in their speech, asking a lot of questions “Why?”, “Why?”, “Where?”.

• child volunteers actively helped their charges in all routine moments during the day. Thus, they received an excellent opportunity to feel like adults and needed;

• many pupils began to enjoy the right of independent choice, which they lack in everyday life;

• the teacher encouraged children to try to share a variety of experiences with adults and other children. For this purpose, “Reflective Circles” were held, with the help of which the child could express his opinion and answer questions.

Intergroup interaction, according to observations, was mutually enriching: the younger ones advanced in their development, and the older ones were given the opportunity to be role models. For older children, playing with kids is a lesson in responsibility, the first serious matter that he leads.

Analysis of the work carried out and reflection circles showed that older boys were less actively involved in the “Children Volunteers ” technology, since, due to their psychological characteristics, boys are more conservative than girls. Children who have younger brothers and sisters used their personal experiences gained in the family, which helped them become involved in the proposed situation. Only children in the family more often turned to adults for help or took an observer position.

Despite the above, I believe that the work on introducing technology has shown positive dynamics in the formation and development of self-regulation of behavior, independence, initiative and responsibility in children, as well as emotional satisfaction. After visiting the younger group, the children came satisfied that they helped, studied, played with the kids like adults, showing care for them. By coming to the group and telling where they were, what they were doing, they gradually aroused the interest and desire of other children to try, and then they also actively became involved in the volunteer movement .

Children love to act as helpers. Moreover, this title must be earned by your behavior and positive attitude towards this work. I believe that children should receive inner satisfaction and feel proud of the work done. Don't expect material rewards. This is the main essence of this movement.

Conclusion.

Volunteering is a very useful and necessary activity for children. They develop self-confidence and begin to feel needed and valuable to other people.

Our children already understand that a volunteer must be kind, patient, and responsible.

Coming out of the kindergarten , our children, unlike others, not only learned about such a noble and necessary movement as volunteering , but also took part in it themselves. I hope that in the future this will leave an imprint on children’s minds as a desire to help other people.

Based on this, we can conclude that organizing the activities of the volunteer movement in kindergarten is a unique opportunity to influence the formation of qualities necessary not only for successful adaptation and learning at school, but also for life in modern society.

I would like to end with the words of D. S. Likhachev: “A surprisingly correct thought: “A small step for a person, a big step for humanity””
