6. HOST: Wherever Chukovsky was: on the tram, in line, at the doctor’s, he did not waste time, but composed fairy tales and riddles for children.
1).The famous lines were born from a hastily composed poem:
“We must, we must wash ourselves.
One day, while working in his office, Korney Chukovsky heard his daughter crying loudly and rushed to help. Little Masha did not want to wash herself. The father, who had an extraordinary imagination, fended off the child’s refusals In the mornings and evenings, And to the unclean chimney sweeps Shame and disgrace, shame and disgrace.”
2). “Mukha-Tsokotukha” was first called “Fly’s Wedding.” He began to write a funny fairy tale about a fly’s wedding on a piece of paper, while he imagined himself as the groom. He came up with the poem itself long before that. But every time I started writing it, I gave it up because I couldn’t write a single line. “The Tsokotukha Fly” is a fairy tale poem written in one breath. And then suddenly the words flowed from the very heart, so that I had to write on a strip of wallpaper torn from the wall. And when I wrote about dance, I started dancing myself. It was a very ridiculous sight. An adult, gray-haired man of forty-two years old is running around the apartment with a piece of wallpaper in his hands, and even dancing.
3).Once Korney Ivanovich spent three hours sculpting various figures from clay with the children. The children wiped their hands on his trousers. It's a long walk home. The muddy trousers were heavy. Passers-by looked at him in surprise. But the storyteller was cheerful. He composed poems. It was "Fedorino's grief."
4).“I haven’t slept for three nights, I’m tired. I would like to fall asleep, relax... But as soon as I lay down, the bell rings!”
These are real lines from the life of Chukovsky himself. He wrote the fairy tale not at the best moment of his life. A bunch of problems kept him from falling asleep. And he depicted his problem in the fairy tale “Telephone”. But Chukovsky wrote for children. First of all, according to the author, a fairy tale should be interesting and understandable to children. Events should develop very quickly so that the little reader (or listener) never gets bored. And now the children will show the fairy tale “Telephone”
7. Dramatization of the fairy tale “Telephone”
8.-All week at home you studied the works of K.I. Chukovsky.
Now you will read excerpts from your works without naming the work, and the rest of the children will guess them. (Express reading of works)

“Then I’ll remind you.”
– Korney Ivanovich Chukovsky lived a long time ago, when your grandparents were as small as you are now.
He had four children: two daughters and two sons. He loved them very much, often played hide-and-seek and tag with them, swam in the sea with them, took them on boat rides, and built fairy-tale sand castles with the children. They lived amicably and cheerfully.
But one day a misfortune happened. One of his sons (a little boy) became seriously ill. He had a high fever and a severe headache. The boy did not eat anything, could not sleep, and only cried.
Chukovsky felt very sorry for his son, he wanted to calm him down, and he began to invent and tell him a fairy tale as he went. The boy liked the fairy tale, he stopped crying, listened carefully and finally fell asleep, and after a few days he completely recovered.
After this incident, Korney Ivanovich Chukovsky began to compose fairy tales. And he came up with many fairy tales that children and adults know and love well.
