Summary of educational activities in the middle group for artistic and aesthetic development “Hedgehog from seeds”

The second method of sculpting

The following modeling from plasticine is especially relevant for children. Unlike the previous option, the spines of this hedgehog will not be cut out, but will be made from the same basic material. This means that work will be done with small details, which will successfully affect the child’s fine motor skills. What you need for work:

  • plasticine (take several colors, one for the spines, the other for the face);
  • napkins;
  • board;
  • plastic knife.

How to make a prickly hedgehog from plasticine step by step:

Hedgehog according to the second method (Step 1)

  1. The first thing to do is to prepare the material for work. Plasticine should be pliable for modeling, so warm it up well in your hands and knead it. Prepare a light color for the body, a dark color for the needles.
  2. Let's start with a light color. You need to make a long cone out of it. The sharp end needs to be highlighted so that the hedgehog’s curious nose is always visible. As you understand, the sharp part will be the muzzle, and the wide part will become the body; you do not need to make the head and body separately.
  3. Attach a small black ball to the spout. This nose definitely loves to look for treats. Glue on the eyes.

    (Step 2)

  4. We continue working with the light color. You need to roll four balls. Gently press them so that they acquire an elongated shape (if possible, use a special spatula). Using a knife, cut out the fingers on the resulting paws. We attach the paws to the previously made cone. Make sure they look the same.
  5. It's time to add some needles to our hedgehog. We take a dark color, tear off small pieces from it, stretch them out and sharpen them. We attach the spines to the body. We make a lot of needles to cover the hedgehog completely. Try not to allow voids to appear.

The hedgehog is ready. This type of plasticine modeling will be very interesting for children. And with a little effort, the finished hedgehog turns out very beautiful.

Plasticine crafts for children may include foreign components, such as pine cones, seeds, real pine thorns, leaves and acorns. When looking at plasticine hedgehogs, study crafts using seeds, because these are natural spines.

Step-by-step photo lesson:

Prepare two balls of plasticine: black and beige. The body and spines of the future hedgehog will be made from them.

Turn the beige ball into an oblong body with a pointed tip.

Attach a black nose ball to the sharp tip. Using your fingertips, press the plasticine in the places where the eyes will be located.

Place black dots-eyes on the formed tubercles.

Place a thick layer of black plasticine on the beige body. Leave the muzzle and breast uncovered.

Use the tip of the stack to create sharp spines. Move the spatula along the back and push portions of plasticine out. Press down any protruding plasticine with your fingers to form sharp needles.

Turn all the black plasticine into hedgehog spines. Miniature triangles should stick out in different directions.

Attach beige legs to the base of the craft.

The plasticine hedgehog craft is ready. You can treat your handmade animal to an apple or other fruit treat. We hope you liked our step-by-step instructions.

Hedgehog with sunflower seeds

As you have seen from the previous instructions, sculpting a hedgehog is not that difficult. There is a slight problem with small parts, because children under five years old often cannot make them. But using seeds instead of thorns is an original solution.

As in previous master classes, we will need plasticine and a board. Sunflower seeds complement this list.

Let's look at how to make a hedgehog from plasticine and seeds:

  1. Knead the brown plasticine until it is completely pliable for modeling. Form a ball. We pull back the material to make the nose. The rest of the body can be left unchanged, because the hedgehog often rolls into a ball to protect itself from the enemy. Attach a small brown drop to the sharp end. Add eyes.

  2. Now you can do what little children love so much - attaching seeds. They need to be carefully inserted with the wide part into the body. You don't need to press hard. Start laying out the first row at the muzzle. The second row must be placed between the gaps of the first so that all the empty space is filled.

This simple plasticine modeling for children will interest your child. Offer to decorate the craft with additional elements, for example, gifts of autumn, which the child already knows how to sculpt.

Craft hedgehog made from chestnut and plasticine

Chestnut has a very interesting shell that can be used for crafts. Its shape resembles the spines of hedgehogs, so we will use it for the animal’s fur coat. The basis of the hedgehog will be the fruit itself - the nut. We sculpt an elongated sharp muzzle and glue it to the nut. We attach ready-made eyes on top, or we sculpt them ourselves. We sculpt a mouth from a small piece of red plasticine. Glue chestnut shells on top. You can create a composition from a hedgehog and dried autumn leaves.

What qualities can modeling instill in a child?

In addition to the benefits, such an activity helps the baby achieve new skills and abilities. Therefore, we sculpt with the kids from plasticine step by step and develop important qualities.

Qualities such as:

  1. Love for work. By kneading small pieces of plasticine, the baby understands that to get a good result you have to work hard.
  2. Creative thinking. Try to give your child as much independence as possible. Let the hedgehog look more like a potato, and the fox have a strange shape. He learns on his own and develops his imagination and thinking.
  3. The ability to find a way out of the current situation. When something doesn’t work out for the baby, he asks you to fix it. You must show him possible solutions. For example, a bear cub can't hold his head up. Offer to attach it to the body using a match. Thus, from an early age the child will learn to find a way out of various situations. In essence, logical thinking develops, which is very important for a growing child.

Plasticineography - hedgehog made of plasticine on cardboard

This option is suitable for school-age children. Its production requires accuracy, perseverance and patience. The picture with a hedgehog and a tree can be printed and transferred to cardboard, or drawn. Knead the green and blue plasticine in your hands. It should become more flexible to make it easier to work with. We cover the sky with a thin layer of blue material. We do the same with grass, but using green color. Carefully smooth out the background. Now, we will need thin flagella of dark brown and black color. They must be the same thickness. We lay out the tree and stump with flagella. Two colors will allow you to imitate the pattern of wood. We outline all the elements with a black outline. Fill the bird with gray color. The next step is to deal with the foliage on the trees. We roll balls from three shades of green plasticine. Each ball must be flattened and rolled at the base. Fill the entire crown with leaves. We roll needles from black plasticine. We will use them to make a prickly fur coat for a good hedgehog. At the final stage, we add details in the form of grass, mushrooms, flowers, a hollow and the sun. We cover the clouds with a white mass. Place the picture in the frame. This craft will make a wonderful gift and will decorate any shelf.

Smeshariki hedgehog made of plasticine

Any child will love this beloved famous character. It turns out bright and unusual, and its production is not difficult at all. We will need plastic material in pink, purple, blue, white and black. Let's roll the ball. Carefully press the ball on the sides and form an elongated nose. Press down two blue balls to make glasses. Attach the fasteners. Adding eyes. The next step is to make parts from pink plasticine. We roll the small nose and ears. We push through the mouth. From purple triangles we form the hair of a cartoon character. All that remains is to add the paws and the figurine is ready.

Step-by-step instructions with photos on how to make a Hedgehog from plasticine

To be more similar to the original, you need to select plasticine material in exactly the same shades. In our case, the Hedgehog from the cartoon Smeshariki should be made of raspberry plasticine. Needles and glasses should be purple. It is also necessary to remember that our hero’s character is serious and modest. The Hedgehog himself belongs (in the cartoon) to the “group” of children, unlike, for example, Sovunya or Pina - they are adults. These characteristics must be present in the character.

To make a hedgehog from smeshariki with your own hands, you should prepare your workplace in advance. Place a wooden or plastic board on the table, you will need a stack and plasticine - crimson, purple, a little white, red and black.

It is better for the smallest craftsmen to sculpt from airy plasticine - it is malleable and easier for children’s hands to work with. Let's look at how to mold a Hedgehog from plasticine step by step:

  1. The raspberry layer is divided into two parts - a ball is formed from the larger one, the other is left to create legs.
  2. They make limbs. An oval blank is formed, bent in half and the hind leg is sculpted, then the second one. For the front legs, two “droplets” are created.
  3. Spines are formed from purple plasticine in the form of small, even cones - there are 12 of them.
  4. The spines are placed on a round raspberry blank. First, 8 elements are laid out in a row and in a circle (in the form of a “sun with rays”), then the remaining 4 pieces. placed to fill the empty space. The result is a “needle hairstyle”.
  5. The front and rear legs are fixed to the body.
  6. Making a Hedgehog's face. A small piece of crimson plasticine is placed in the middle of the future “face” and the base is formed. Then a red plasticine triangle is molded into its center, imitating a nose.
  7. Other details are sculpted separately - the eyes are made of white, the pupils are made of black plasticine (in the form of flat circles), and the crimson ears are in the form of flattened balls.
  8. Thin “threads” are rolled out of purple plasticine (2 pieces long and 2 pieces short) - these are the elements for assembling glasses, the main attribute of the Hedgehog.
  9. A long purple “thread” is carefully wrapped around each eye, leaving a gap of a few mm at the left eye where the eyes meet. The blanks are connected.
  10. The eyes with glasses are attached above the nose, then short purple “threads” are fixed to them (towards the ears) - these are the spectacles. Then the ears are sculpted.
  11. The last nuance of the eyebrows is that they are molded from purple plasticine in the form of tiny ovals and placed above the eyes.

A smile is formed with a stack, making a vertical line from the nose down and a horizontal semicircle.

To make the Smeshariki hedgehog as identical as possible, the back is designed exactly like the original. To do this, a flat and round purple cake is formed. In the upper part, the excess is smoothly cut off with a stack, giving the shape of a drop. The workpiece is fixed on the back of the body, and needles are attached to it.

How to make a hedgehog from plasticine

If your child likes to create animal figures from plasticine, invite him to make a hedgehog. This cute, prickly animal will add to your baby's collection of products. To make a little animal, we suggest you choose one of the instructions below. You will learn how to make a hedgehog from plasticine in different ways.

If you have already sculpted a cat from plasticine, which we talked about in the previous article, then making a charming hedgehog will not be difficult. We have selected several options for making a hedgehog for you. The first two will be based only on the use of plasticine.

The first method of sculpting

Before making a cute hedgehog from plasticine, prepare:

  • soft, children's plasticine;
  • scissors with pointed edges;
  • knife for working with plasticine;
  • board;
  • skewer.

Get ready to learn how to make a hedgehog from plasticine:

Hedgehog according to the first method (Step 1)

  1. The first thing we will do is make a face for the future hedgehog. For it, it is better to use plasticine with a very light shade and hints of brown. If you don't have this in your set, don't worry. Take a brown shade and white. Connect these two pieces and crumple until the streaks disappear. The resulting mass must be rolled into a ball. Give the ball a cone shape. The muzzle can be considered almost ready. Set the workpiece aside.
  2. Let's start sculpting the body. It should be dark. Take the color you want, knead the material and roll into a ball. Gently press the resulting ball on the sides to form an oval.

    (Step 2)

  3. Take the muzzle and body blank and connect them. In the joint area, add teardrop-shaped pieces in a brown shade (they should resemble spines) to hide the joint.
  4. We return to the light brown color again, we need to make the ears. Roll small balls, flatten them and connect at the bottom. Using a skewer, carefully secure the ears to the hedgehog's head. In the space between the ears, place the same drop-shaped parts as in the previous paragraph.
  5. The time has come for the formation of spines on the future hedgehog. For this purpose we will use scissors. Using the tip of the scissors, make small cuts in the plasticine. Use a skewer to press down the middle of the created needles. You can make a couple of additional cuts on the needles that we made on the hedgehog’s head.

    (Step 3)

  6. All that remains is to design the face. To do this, use a stack to make indentations in the place of the eyes. Roll out small black balls and insert into the recesses. We attach the spout in the same way. Finally, we decorate the hedgehog’s mouth.

You learned how to make a hedgehog from plasticine step by step. To make the hedgehog look even brighter, add a couple of elements to it. These could be apples, pears or mushrooms. They can be attached to spines. And one of the ears can be decorated with a small flower.

Having such a hedgehog and a few other plasticine animals, all you have to do is make a car out of plasticine, put the whole company in it and go on a trip. You will learn how to make a car from this article.
